So, you've come past the last two posts and still want to know what the hell I'm doing. I like you already!! Don't mind me if this gets wordy, just skim to the interesting parts.
The Project:
I'm a lazy Simmer. I still smack on Auto-Roof, leave things un-Create A Styled, and make things in the easiest way possible. This will be the mark of my first real challenge. Not just to build worlds and blog about them with creative writing thrown in, but to keep up with it.
Basically, I plan on building three worlds total. Using Create a World, not in game ones. I can use any combo of Lots, Pre-made Buildings, and Previously made Sims (of my own creation only) that I like, as long as I actually do the work of planning out and building the cities. On paper, I'll be keeping a diary of how I do, mirroring a lot of it here. The bonus to blogging is easy Screencapping. :D I'll give lots of illustrations as progress goes on, of the behind the scenes work and from a Sim Point of view.
In that same breath, Sim posts will be IC (For those who don't RolePlay already, it's In-Character. Meaning, as the character (Sim) would write it out). I'll try to add IC tags for those, but they should be pretty obvious. This is mostly creative writing exercises, thrown into a project to keep me busy. (Housewife'ing ain't easy.)
(At this point, I'd like to thank a friend of mine named Eik for the inspiration behind blogging IC! <3)
Now, the TL;DR of the Rules should you want to follow along at home:
1. I'm lazy, if I need money to build, I'm going to cheat. This is more about the creating aspect.
2. Mods are allowed. Unless I find one that auto generates worlds. That one wont be.
3. Worlds must be made with the EA provided tool: Create a World (Still in Beta). Tutorial Videos are allowed.
4. We're allowed to take all the time we need. A month? Sure. A year? Only if I take up Photoshop and make EVERYTHING by hand.
5. Custom Content to your hearts Desire. (Same with Create a Style. All yours).
6. Diary pages MUST be done for each world, along with a description. It's up to you if you want to put it on the internet or not.
7. Spend at least a few Sim Days with your "main" family (Your choice which) to write for them.
8. Above all, it's supposed to be fun. If you really, really, can't use Create a World, wiping out a lot of the base game world and remaking it wont hurt. (It undermines the whole challenge part, but hey, gotta start somewhere)
-Happy Simming!
